Installation is one of the most important parts of your shutter project. A beautiful shutter will never look correct if installed incorrectly. As an OEM manufacturer, we no longer install our shutters, but we are happy to interface with your installer or contractor on the best methods for installation. Below are some helpful diagrams that show standard installation procedures. Colonial shutters use either L hinges or our own speciality hinges. Bahama shutter installation utilizes either a continuous hinge or our offset butt hinge. Spandrel type shutters can be installed using a number of different methods, while fixed mount shutters can come factory pre-drilled, or mounted with a fixed mount bracket set.
